Basically as the title says, I'm absolutely petrified of being seen by people I work with, or friends, while I'm working out.
I'm a big dude, even if I was doing weights I feel people will look at me and think I'm weaker than they expected... Or I'll be judged in some way. I try to go to the gym later at night but it means that I frequently miss sessions because I become so tired by the time I'm willing to go.
I realise I'll get the usual band of people telling me "screw what other people think" but it isn't as straight forward as that. I'm not sure what other peoples' thoughts and experiences are with this?
Not sure how to get over this irrational fear as I know it's holding me back a lot... Any advice would be appreciated. This has been a major issue for me for years and I really feel it's hindering my progress =/
