30 lbs down 17 to go (even with a whole cheat week)!!!

Hello r/loseit family.

I don't often post, but I had to celebrate this SV. I started on June 25th at 220. I'd been in a pretty dark place and was drinking heavily, eating garbage, and barely exercising. I'd ballooned up 40 lbs from where I was, which was already a little overweight.

Today I stepped on the scale, and was a flat 190. I am a 5'7", 37 year old Male.

It hasn't been overly difficult, but I've been floating around 1200 calories in every day, and I am exercising away another 3 or 400 calories 4 or 5 times per week. Between heavy lifting and 20 to 30 minutes on a stairmaster, the pounds are melting off.

A couple of weeks ago. I blew my calorie allowance almost every day, but I continued to log on the loseit app. When I realized that the junk food and over eating made me feel worse, I recommitted. Fortunately, during that week, there weren't any significant gains, maybe up and down a pound or two.

The key key key to all of this is CICO and being mindful of what you out into your body.

I know that at this point, I can reach my goal by the end of October.

I wore some pants yesterday, that I haven't squeezed into in more than two years, and it felt great. My moon face is gone, and I am starting to feel more confident. (No more stretched button holes on my shirts, no more restrictive waist pants).

If I can do this, anyone can.

Thanks for all of the motivation.

I don't have a progress pic. I took a before picture, but I was so ashamed of myself that I deleted it. I'll never go back.
