My fears regarding loose skin came true

This is just a vent. Yes, I am thankful that I've lost the weight. But that doesn't mean I can't still be sad about some things too.

I'm a 30 year old woman. I'm 5'8", went from weighing 244 to 154. (Still want to lose around 15-25 lbs.) XL shirts to XS. Size 18 jeans to size 6. 40DD to 32D bra size.

My breasts are just skin. That "size D" is literally just skin rolled up into the cup. If I wear a form fitting shirt without a bra there is absolutely no indication breasts are even there.

If I lean over the skin on ny stomach pools to the center and hangs several inches away from my body. If I lay on my back you can clearly see the outline of my torso, but with skin pooling about 4 inches all around it.

When I put on a bra all the loose skin on my upper back wrinkles and rolls together like an accordian and I have to grab the skin on my lower back and gently pull it so it smoothes out.

I didn't think it would be this bad. Even "giving it time" isn't going to make several inches of hanging skin snap back. And I'm really not in the mood for platitudes so please save the "battle scar" comments with your "live, laugh, love" posters.

But if anyone can commiserate, that would be appreciated.
