I’ve always been the chubby girl growing up, but throughout high school I was very active, losing excess fat and building muscle via HIIT, weight training and cardio. Long story short... 2 years later as college and work consumed my time, I ate worse because it was “easier” and worked out less because I “didn’t have time.” I was doing fine for a bit, and then the weight caught up all of a sudden. Going from the best my body has ever looked, to my current body really has taken a toll on me. I’m unhappy with myself and life, ultimately. I have days where I’m very motivated and will work out for 2 days (an accomplishment) and eat pretty well, and then it all goes away and I can’t seem to get back to it. I feel like part of the reason it’s hard to get back may be because I know it’s going to take a long time to get back into shape. I’m a female, 5’7” and weighing at 170 pounds. I’ve gained about 40 pounds in the last 2 years and I can’t say it enough... I’m incredibly unhappy. I have extra fat on my back, stomach and arms and that’s where I’m most unhappy. I know I should cut back on sweets and fast food, but is there anything else you recommend? Maybe a probiotic or supplement to boost my digestive system? I find that sometimes I am constipated which also discourages me from being healthy because the bloating that comes with it is the worst. Any questions, comments tips would be appreciated! Thank you guys.
