Can I take a very improper cheat day?

I started my diet on June 28th. I am exercising and eating as healthy as i can within my limits. I eat 1-2 cheat meals per week but I almost never cross 1700 calories and I am tracking my macros on myfitnesspal.

I started at 237lbs and about a week ago I weighed in at 221 lbs (This made me very happy to see). This past week I have plateaued. My average intake for the week was 1500 cal, I continued my exercise (though I do feel weak) and I am stagnant at an average of 222 lbs. I am not gonna give up.

It's just that I am very stressed recently and tomorrow when I go out I want a full cheat day, I want to eat how much and whatever I want. It's barely been 6 weeks since I started my diet. Will this ruin me? Or do I need it? I feel like I'm slowly getting more depressed. I know that's how diets are and I'm determined to meet my goal of 200 lbs eventually. But does anyone have experience with these urges?
