I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this.
So I’m F 5’4, started out at 180 and have dropped down to 150 over the course of 6 months using CICO. I feel much happier and much more agile, not to mention I’m much happier with my overall appearance. I’ve still got a few pounds to go until my goal weight, which is firmly in the middle of a normal ranged BMI.
I have a coworker who tells me daily that “I’m skinny enough now” and that “it’s time for me to stop caring so much about what other people think”. My response has generally been along the lines of, “I’m doing this for myself and for my health”, however she continues to bring this up daily, and has even tried to convince my other coworkers that I have an eating disorder which has caused meetings with management to discuss my weight. She’s even gone so far as to shove cookies into my face. I work for a small local business so we have no HR.
r/loseit, I’m sure others have been in this situation. How do you handle something like this without causing more tension in the workplace?
