Starting fresh today, feeling positive after getting back on track

I initially lost over 10kg following keto and tracking macros but after about a year I fell off plan in spectacular fashion. I suspect that the strict protocol was just too strict, I was binging on cakes, chocolate and ice-cream to an extent I have never experienced before. I have gained back about 13kg. I know these numbers may not compare to some people’s who have lost hundreds of pounds but I have a chronic pain condition and this is enough for me to start struggling with everyday tasks. I have now set up my Cronometer to track my calories. I plan to aim for low carb of about 50g, then hit my protein and keep fats pretty low. I am aiming to stay under the 1200 calories per day. I am 171cm tall and am currently sitting in the overweight category, I need to get this back down to a healthy BMI. I am doing pilates but need to get back into regular spin sessions and lifting weights. I look forward to engaging with the group and staying on track. Just reading this board has got me motivated and I can see that it is possible, leaving the emotional binges behind will take will power but I am hopeful of success.
