Someone I know lost a lot of weight and now everyone makes fun of her looks (I'm worried the same will happen to me)

My family member's friend is probably in her late 40s, early 50s. She used to be around 180-200 lbs. She's down to about 120 or less now. You'd think things would be looking up for her, except now everyone seems to be making fun of how she looks now, saying she looks gaunt, her head looks too big for her body now, etc.

I'm happy to have lost the weight I have, but I can't help but be worried that once I get to my goal weight I'll be similarly clowned behind my back. As in, what if my head looks too big for my body, what if I end up looking much older, and so on. I'll admit that I started this weight loss journey not only because I wanted to be healthier, but because I wanted to look a certain way. I've been made fun of probably my whole life for being overweight. It'd be a bit of a shame if I was still made fun of even after taking my health into my own hands and losing weight.

Does anyone have experience with this?
