None of the 37 pounds lost was my doing. Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

Not gonna lie, I'm not a very emotional guy, but all I feel like doing is crying right now. Right when I thought I was getting somewhere with my health, it turns out to not be the case.

Over the past three months I have been watching my caloric intake and exercising daily, and have lost 37 pounds in that three month span. However, I was recently in the hospital for minor surgery, and during a routine blood test my blood sugar was quite high.

Today I was officially diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. My primary care doctor explained to me that people diagnosed with Diabetes tend to drop weight prior to diagnosis due to a lack of effective insulin.

Its just been a hard day, and I now have even more hurtles to jump if I ever want to be healthy. Sorry for rambling, just needed to vent.

Edit: Thanks you guys so much for the support!
