Daughter putting on a lot of weight

My wife and I are very concerned over our daughter’s weight gain. She’s 19, lives on her own. When she comes home though, she always appears bigger than the last time we saw her. It’d be one thing if this were a small gain, but its very noticeable.

I think part of it is the inevitable college/freshman year gain, but I think the other part is just her living on her own. I know I didn't eat right at all when I lived alone.

Over 200 pounds at this point I'd guess. The issue is that she's an adult & ultimately makes her own decisions so we can't monitor her 24/7.

Should we put it bluntly with her or be more careful?
