Hi!
I lost about 20 lbs over the past year (from 130 to 110, 5'0" tall) and in July I was pretty happy with the way I looked for the first time I can remember.
I spent the last 3 weeks WWOOFing, working on a farm in exchange for room and board. I definitely ate more than I was used to, especially because most of my meals were being prepared and provided for me, and I had dessert every day, but I tried to exercise portion control during meals and eat as healthy as possible, and I figured that the farm labor would offset a lot of the dessert since I didn't work out much (at all) in my day to day before the farm. I was doing manual labor 6 hours a day, and walking a lot, plus hiking on weekends.
However, I returned home a few days ago and absolutely none of my clothes fit me at all. I can't button my jeans or zip up my dresses. Some pants I can't even get over my thighs. I only brought stretchy/comfy clothes on the trip so it was quite a shock and it does not feel good.
I actually got rid of my scale shortly before I left because I found myself fixating on numbers in a way that started to feel unhealthy, so I'm not sure how much weight I gained, but it feels like at least 10 pounds - clothes I bought when I was still 120/125 won't go on at all.
Do you think this could be water weight? It doesn't feel like muscle. What can I do to get it back down?
