F25, H5'4, CW:147 GW:135-130lb
I am eating in a caloric deficit in hopes to lose about 15-20 pounds before January 2026. I am also going to the gym about 4-5 days a week and staying active however I do work a desk job from 7:10am-5:00pm. I do basic strength training.. nothing out of the ordinary : cable machine, Lunges with weights and free weight arm exercises. things like that. I am worried that due to the strength training I will not lose the amount of weight i want. Does anyone have any experience with this? I feel I am stressing about every small aspect about losing the weight and now If i eat one cookie (in my deficit allowance I will blow up like a balloon. ) I do generally get about 80G of protein a day. I also walk at the gym for 10 mins in my warm up and about 15 mins after my strength training. Any advice is much appreciated. thanks!!
