Where should I focus?

Hello!

I need some advice about where I should focus to be getting the results I want. I am close to where I want to be but feel stuck. I’m a 29 year old female.

I am definitely lean currently, but just trying to lose a bit of body fat and gain muscle to feel strong again. I am not feeling or looking my strongest/best right now.

I use a Renpho scale so these numbers aren’t accurate but I’m using them as a reference. I looked and felt my best when I was 2-2.5% lower body fat. Currently at 20% and hoping to get to 17.8%. I know I’m already lean but I just not feeling my best in my current body.

I also really want to gain muscle. I have recently gotten back into lifting at gym. Currently doing 3x lifting per week (legs/glute, arms and chest, shoulders and back) and then will try to run or some sort of cardio 30-40mins 2-3 per week

So I’m just wondering where should I focus. What is a good protein goal and then should I still be in a calorie deficit, and if so, how much. And at what deficit would be harmful to my goals?

Can I focus both on losing body fat and gaining muscle? Or do I need to pick one goal?

Any advice is helpful
