Introduced 10k steps, but my weight is stalling now!

I (F23, 5’1, CW: 189lbs, GW: 135lbs) have lost weight before, roughly 30lbs last year. I gained back a little bit but since the start of the new year, I’ve been back on track. I dropped about 5lbs purely through food (no exercise). This week, I started to incorporate 10k steps to add some activity and I have kept my nutrition the same. I know this because not only do I track my calories, but I basically eat the same thing every day. However, my weight has not moved in over a week.

While I know a week isn’t a lot, it’s coincidentally the week I went from being pretty sedentary to being on my feet and walking a lot. Could this contribute to water retention or some kind of stall on the scale? How should I get things moving again?

Thanks!
