Struggling to lose weight / not seeing the progress I want

I'm F26, 5'4, 235 lbs and I have been trying to lose weight my whole life. I've tried literally everything. Sometimes I find myself over complicating weight loss/ working out. Currently, I workout 5 times a week. I do 30 mins of cardio, usually 5-10 mins to warm up and 15 mins of incline at the end of my workout 12 incline speed 2. I am weightlifting, I have leg and arm days separated. I am progressively overloading. As for diet, I've tried myfitnesspal - calorie counting and I've struggled with my relationship with food, so I stopped using it. As of now, I try to eat more whole foods, protein shake after workout, and smaller portions. I want my diet to be something likeable, manageable, and turned in a lifestyle. I had moments where I didn't eat much but binged later. So my question is, should I give calorie deficit another shot? Should I not progressive overload? I do understand my body is recomping.
