For starters, I am 22, 5’6 225 pounds. I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS, and I get to deal with the wonderful joys that come with that. I was 186 pounds in 2020 when I graduated high school. In 2018, I went from 186 to 153 with just more physical activity (walking, light jogging) and a calorie intake of 1400. Of course I gained the weight back and then some! I’ll spare the details but yea, covid, working overnights, a job at Walmart, and birth control all did a number on me. I became sedentary and very lazy. I usually lose weight very fast for someone with PCOS (mine is or atleast it was more of an adrenal type, lack of sleep caused my body to fight against itself).
But I’m getting older and I enjoy working out and have realized I need to out the effort in. I still give myself slack or cheat days to live, but I quickly realized that 3 bad days can turn into 5, then 7, then a couple weeks and there goes my diet, or how even one or two days and fuck up a whole deficit. Essentially since February I have gained and lost the same damn 5 pounds! So I’m somewhat consistent even with going off a diet completely and exercise, I gained 3 pounds in 2 months.
I am trying to do a 1400 deficit, but I want to waiver my calories between 1400-1700. I’ve even thought about being more lenient or lenient on the days I workout. I workout 3-5 days weekly and walk around good 4-5 miles atleast. I wish I could attach photos of my build to give e more outlook. I know I’m big and that’s why I’m here, to lose weight and to tone up my shape. I know 5’6 and 225 pounds sounds hefty. They should be somewhere on my profile
