Has anyone lost weight without counting macros/calories/points?

Hi everyone, I’m a Mom of 3 looking to get back in shape. I have 35-40 pounds I’d like to lose.

In the past, I’ve had success with counting carbs, points, and calories (at different times), but I’m wondering if there is a way around that, or at least a way to keep it to a minimum. I’m busy with the kids and also trying to set a good example of eating for health vs. being restrictive.

I’m hoping if I focus on eating mostly veggies, fruits, protein, legumes, and very minimal highly processed foods I can achieve my weight loss goals. I would really prefer not to count at all, but want to be realistic that I may have to at least for a bit to get back on track.

Hit me with your tips, tricks, favorite recipies and success stories. Thanks!
