Frozen TV Dinners - Pros and Cons?

Hi! I’m 28f, 5”2, SW: 233 CW: 213 GW: 130. I’m currently going through a breakup and I haven’t felt as motivated to meal prep/prepare healthy snacks. I’ve actually been having trouble meeting my current 1500 calorie deficit (I try to make sure I’m at least meeting 1200 daily though!) which has never been a problem for me before as I usually am a stress eater.

As a result I’ve been relying on frozen meals for the last two weeks for lunches and dinners (I don’t eat breakfast)—usually healthy choice cafe steamers or other similar lower-calorie options. I haven’t had any problems feeling unsatisfied, but I’m wondering how sustainable eating like this is.

My main concern is malnourishment but I’m wondering if there are any bigger cons to relying on frozen meals? I plan on getting back to meal prepping eventually when I’m not an emotional mess but I want to make sure I’m not setting myself up for failure in the meantime.

Any advice is appreciated!
