Help: Hurts More Each Walk

Hi there. I am 25f 5'5"/290. I have always been overweight but able to walk around and function. In the last year I put on an additional 25 pounds and lost any semblance of physical ability. I began working from home and didn't notice when my weight went up and my ability to move went down. My clothes still fit and the little bit of movement around the house or grocery store was fine.

I have started trying to get myself together in the past few days. I want to establish a daily routine of movement. For now I know my main focus has to be food, but it is a habit I want to get into. The first of 3 days I have walked was fine. I got winded and my legs hurt a bit but I pushed through. Yesterday I went for the same small (half mile-ish) walk but my legs started hurting much earlier and a lot more intensely. Today I did it again and it was worse. I wanted to just stop and sit in the road my legs hurt so much.

Am I hurting myself by taking walks? Will my body one day hurt less than the day before and I just have to push through the pain? I don't know what to do. Walking is the easiest and lowest impact thing I could think to do. I don't have a pool or a gym available.

I want to succeed but I'm not sure what to do.
