ATTN: How do I stay motivated when I don’t see definition?

Me: 25 yrs old. 5’10”. Female. Starting weight: 197lbs.

My PT took my BMI and it was 35... She did it with the clamps (?). I have 70 lbs I’d fat on me. My lean weight (I can’t remember the term) is 126 lbs .. 🤯

I weighed myself this morning and was 195 lbs. I’m working out with a Personal Trainer 3x week. I’m trying to do more exercises when I’m not working out with PT.

I want to see results NOW. I can’t believe I have 70 lbs of fat... ugh. I got off some medications recently that have caused me to gain weight over the last few years.

My PT is pushing me in my workouts, but not too hard. We do free weight exercises together and then I do 30 minutes of cardio...

Can I expect a 2lbs/week weight drop? How do I stay motivated when I don’t see definition?

Edit: Has been less than a week since I started. Started 11/12/2020

  • I’m also eating 300 calories every 3-4 hours 5 x a day for a total of = 1500/calories a day. Haven’t felt overly hungry. My PT said this will stabilize my Blood Sugar??
