Tips on resisting social drinking??

Hi all! I’m about 5’4” and 158 lbs (my highest weight ever). I’m really really motivated to get to my goal weight of 130. I’ve been tracking everything on My Fitness Pal and exercising consistently for 7 days now. My biggest predicted roadblock is alcohol, especially around my family members. I see my parents a few times a week, and they are very much social drinkers. I always look forward to unwinding and having a few beers or glasses of wine with them, but I KNOW that as soon as I have a buzz going I’ll go straight for the junk food. When it’s just my partner and I at home, it’s pretty easy for me to not drink, but I really struggle with that will power when I’m in a social setting. Does anyone have any tips on how to break the habit of social drinking? Thank you all very much, I’m so happy to have found such a supportive and informative space on the internet!
