Today I went on a ten mile hike with friends and on the hike we took a picture. Normally I look at pictures and think I look okay, but I hate how I look in this picture because you can actually see my loose skin. Most people would look at it and think I look a little chunky in the midsection, but I know my body and know that the prominent bulge under my clothes is skin.
I lost 110 pounds and I am very proud of my accomplishment, but the loose skin definitely puts a damper on things. I want to look sexy and slim, but I have never felt that. I can't healthily lose any more weight. I already have coworkers tell me I look anorexic. Strength training has also not helped because there is just so much of it that it doesn't just magically tighten.
Eventually I plan on getting skin surgery but that would be in the distanct future, depending on the cost.
Does anyone else deal with loose skin? Any tips?
