Hello losers,
Running late tonight here we go!
Weight by end of month (200 lbs, preferably trend weight): 207 this morning. Late salty carby dinner will do a bitch wrong haha.
Stay within calorie range (1500 ish): 1580 planned. 1/1 weeks weekly calorie average.
Exercise 5 days a week: 30 minute lunch walk & low impact cardio or HIIT this evening. 11/12 days.
Self-care time (journaling, working on love journals, beauty treatments, drawing 0/11 days): I think a face mask & some deep conditioning for my hair is in my future. I need a dang haircut but that isn’t in my immediate future so might as well have the softest of unkempt hair.
Try a new recipe once a week: 15 bean soup with ham & sweet roasted chickpeas with nuts so far. 1/5 weeks.
50 pages of The Body Keeps the Score: Probably not tonight. 10/50 pages.
No fast food, candy from the work dish or Starbucks: Check. Okay kids, I received a Starbucks gift card for Mother’s day & I’ma say that doesn’t violate the spirit of not spending the extra money or letting Starbucks be the first bad decision leading to binge town. 12 day streak no fast food, gift card only Starbucks, 2 candy related lapses in judgement.
Listen to my effing body: Jonsing for the feeling after a good high intensity workout. Work anxiety simmering but it’s not true anxiety. There’s some burnout there.
Be more mindful & express gratitude, avoid the hedonic treadmill: Today is one of those days where my brain is just going & going like a certain bunny. However, it has proved relatively productive. Solutions, ideas, things to be added to lists to do or try later, lots of positive stuff is getting spewed out. It’s still a bit tiring & perhaps alarming. I’ll embrace the good things though. Go brain go.
