In your experience, did you get excess skin after losing 100+ pounds? Question..

So my journey started at age 14 at 290 lbs at my highest I was always bigger but gained 70 within 4 months due to medical issues. I'm currently 190 lbs and 23 years old and I know a missed a lot if I between the story but I'm more worried about continuing and getting excess skin. Does it always happen if you lose a mass amount of weight? I know it can depend on the fastness of it and maybe youngness and elasticity in your skin I've heard as well as working out. I lost the majority very fast but no signs of lose skin, I'm still chubby so maybe I just cant see it yet? My current goal is to get to 150 but ultimate would be 130 but I've been told that would be to thin on my body type by doctors and that 170-150 is more ideal but I honestly dint feel how even 150 on me would look thin at all. I know I dont have pictures but I'm 5'6 if that helps lol. I was a size 24-26 and I'm now a size 14/12. If I dont have lose skin now is it safe to say I have a good chance of avoiding it ? Also most of my fat currently is located in my hip area and and lower stomach. A bit in my arms. Dont know if that relates. Any advice about anything or personal experience would be appreciated!

Edit: forgot to add that I'm female

TLDR; what's your experience with excess skin/does it always happen/when do you start noticing if at all?
