Wanted to lose 15kg in a year and already lost 7kg in one month.

Long time watcher/first time writer.

I'm 37 years old, 182cm and have long been hovering in the 98-100kg area. I am your typical "he's just a big guy" type since my body fat pretty evenly distributes but it's there.

I stumbled upon a random video of a guy documenting an incredible transformation and I just hit 101 I was just like: Ok, enough.

He inspired me to download a simple calories get&burn logger (loseIt) app and set a target that would't interfere with my lifestyle too drastically.

This was on 1st of May. I quickly identified my most critical factor which was a weekday restaurant lunch which serves huge portions driving up my calories intake insanely. So I started eating slower and doggybagging ~half of it for dinner. This alone almost cut my intake in half (and my food expenses).

I started slowly to go for a run at a defined day 1/week but for some reason I started feeling energized & happy doing it so I added some more runs when I felt like it and 1/week at the gym.

The progress was non-linear at first but transformed into some nice trajectory showing me to reach my goal at around August and I was like wtf. This created some positive feedback loop and well, here I am, 1 month in, already half way to my target, by simply weighting myself every day, watching what I eat plus a bit of exercise.

Let me repeat this: If friggin I can do it, anyone can.

All the best to you all!
