This feels like an absolute win

I’ve been working a lot on my mental health and recovering from an eating disorder this year. I’ve always been in a healthy weight range for the most part but would starve myself and get into bad cycles of dropping 10lbs and regaining it and dropping it again.

And after a lot of therapy and hardcore focus on getting better the last year or so, I don’t hate my body like I used to. I don’t cry when I see myself in photos anymore. I don’t keep track of all the things I eat and I listen to my body much better than I used to. I’m so much healthier in my relationship and attitude towards eating.

And somehow when I stepped on the scale i was seven pounds lighter than i was two months ago. I guess all of the obsessing was the thing causing that little bit of extra to hold on so tight. When you relax sometimes it helps you let go of things :)
