I have a job interview for a potentially life changing job, at the very least a path with options. A career as opposed to my current comfortable but absolute dead end job.
Job interviews are always stressful, knowing that being fat in the eyes of your interviewer decreases your chances of success is an inconvenient truth. So, with that in mind, I've been stressing that shopping in Targets "Mr. Big" section is very limitting, not particularly stylish and somewhat just looks shabby. Mr big btw, that's actually what they call the plus size section in Australia, how anybody thought that was good idea is beyond me.. it's a little embarrassing. Anyhow, I've been using my belt on my too big pants for a while so I didn't realise that I've slowly gone down from a size 44 (54 when I started) to a 38 pants. Size 38 is quite easy to find in any store, if still on the larger options. And my shirt size is easily xxl and potentially an XL, I get the feeling I just don't like the feeling of a non baggy shirt, like it brings out insecurities because I'm used to trying to hide in baggy clothes.
Now my next challenge, dressing "smart casual" and getting a job that mostly advertised for women(but men are considered). I've decided to overdress but only a little.. I hope, blue slacks, white shirt no tie. Brown/tan shoes and Belt. Gonna at least feel good =D
Apologies for rambling and digression <3
