I am tired of letting my weight control me

I am a college student, about one year away from graduating. I feel like much of my teen/early young adult life has been consumed by my insecurities, which usually involves me canceling on people or alienating myself because I am scared about how I will look, often emotionally eating, (college making it worse because living on my own meant I could get whatever junk food I wanted at any time). I have done yoyo diets literally a majority of my life, even doing water fasts in a desperate attempt to lose weight. every time has ended in failure, and I just gave up for a while because I was tired of putting myself through failure. but today, looking at pictures my mom took of me over spring break, I am huge. like bigger than I thought. It almost made me cry on the spot just looking at those pictures. I guess I just always avoided looking at myself but wow. idk why its finally hitting me how out of control I've gotten these days. I have over 100 lbs to lose, and I don't know where to start. but I know I am tired of my weight controlling me, and making my depression worse. it's like a never-ending cycle, and more than anything, I really want to break my bad habits and lose weight before I start working in the real world after I graduate :( on a lighter note, if there is anyone reading this that was in this position (over 100+ lbs to lose) in the past, or currently on their journey, I would really appreciate your input or advice as I start this new journey. also if there is anyone else that wants to hold each other accountable, or just talk, I would really love that! we could motivate each other. thank you if you made it this far haha
