On the cusp of a milestone and in smaller jeans

I’ve (33m) been very overweight for a long time. At my peak I was over 38 stone (532lbs) and I’d been losing weight steadily without trying, just eating better.

At the end of March I weighed myself and I was at 30st 11lbs. I haven’t been under 30st for about 6 years and seeing as I’ve started a new relationship in the last month, I decided to take things seriously.

I’ve been eating better, visiting the gym and I’ve basically stopped drinking alcohol. After 4 weeks I weighed myself and I’m now at 30st 0lbs and 1oz.

It’s so close I can taste it.

As a byproduct, while I haven’t dropped a clothing size yet, I’m now wearing a pair of slimmer fit jeans that I couldn’t get past my thighs a month ago.

Once I’m under 30st, the next goal is 28. 2 stone at a time till I reach my overall target of 16st. For the first time in my adult life I feel like I have the motivation to do this
