So, I've been tracking calories with the Lose It app for about a month. I started using Weight Watchers, but I sort of hated how abstract the points were. There were items that were 0 points (because they were healthy), but they still had calories. Weight Watchers thinks you're not going to eat eighteen bananas, but I will just to spite the diet. I'm a moron.
Anyway, I've been using the Lose It app and actually tracking calories for about a month now, and it's been awesome. My peak weight was 231, and I'm now down to 214 as a 6' male. I'm keeping my eye on the prize of 165 as my goal weight.
But I am seriously amazed I'm not fatter. I would very frequently get wings and beer at my favorite brewery. I would always order 12 wings and two IPAs. If LoseIt is to be believed, that means I ate 1800 calories on a single meal. And it was never my only meal that day. I can't believe my peak weight was only 231. I should be WAY, WAY BIGGER. Does anybody else feel this way? Like, you're fat, but you should be way fatter based on your eating habits?
