Long time lurker, first time poster (on mobile so apologies for formatting)
I'm 27F 5'3 started at 220lbs and got down to 155lbs through portion control and being in the gym every day, I was doing so good and was 5lbs away from the goal I set and then I got sick.
It started a few months ago with a frozen shoulder that still bothers me. Then one month ago I started having more issues (TMI to go into) which ended up with me going into the ER this past weekend. When they took my weight it was 177lbs. I gained 22lbs in two months. I completely broke down. I worked so so hard just to get to where I was.
Doctor's orders are to take it easy and they prescribed me medicine that I know will add even more weight since I have taken it before and gained 30lbs on it. Im lost and just feel like complete crap because all the hard work I have done is just disappearing.
Is there anything I can do to prevent any more weight gain while "taking it easy" I feel like I am going right back to square one again v.v
Apologies again if incoherent or rambling, I'm bawling my eyes out while typing.
