Advice to maintain muscle while losing fat? Tips on weight training plan?

I'm a female, aged 27, height 5ft 9in, weight before starting fat loss journey 216 pounds, current weight 206 pounds

My goal is to lose fat but maintain as much muscle and strength as possible in the process with my end goal to be slimmer but strong

I am currently walking to and from work each day for my cardio exercises, in total around 45 minutes each day, and am also in around a 500 calorie deficit for the fat loss. I want to start weight training at home 3-4 times a week with "at home" equipment. The equipment I have is dumbbells, barbells with interchangeable weight plates, and a fold up adjustable bench. I also have some resistance bands.

I am struggling to come up with a weight training plan that will be most effective and struggling to decide which specific exercises to do to be as beneficial as possible for each muscle group with the limited equipment I have. Essentially I want every moment to count and ensure to use proper form from the beginning.

I have read online that PPL (push, pull, legs) training is a good place to start but that you need to do that at least 4 times a week. Would this suit my goals? Also any tips on which exercises I can apply to each of the 3 using the equipment I have? Some of the suggestions online require some kind of gym equipment. Also should I go heavy with less reps, or medium with higher reps?. If at all possible it would be cool to build muscle but don't think that's likely to happen at the moment

Sorry for the long question!
