I know these statistics are a bit wonky, because the success stories are more likely to be excluded, however the percentage is always high, 80, 95, whatever, according to the statistic its unlikely to keep the weight off for a longer time. NOW, prove me wrong and tell me your sucess stories, how consistent or not the journey was for years and how hard it is to maintain? (If u failed and regained, you can also chime in, so its more realistic :D)
My story: M23, I lost around 10lbs since the start of january and have 10-20lbs to go, 19% bodyfat right, starting bodyfat was 22,5%, now i read much about fat cells and that when they shrink you are more hungry and likely to regain and when you regain, the fat cells could multiply and then basically a viscious cycle happens, because it gets more and more and harder and harder when you yoyo. I dont want to yoyo and have my utmost respect for maintaining when i reach my GW and hope i wont be back to overweight in less than a year or even 2, 5 years, i want to stay the healthy weight for at least the next 15, 20 years. Even afterwards. I dont want my fat cells to multiply, i have more than enough already, but the odds seem to be stacked against me. I hope there are some good success stories that show its possible and not as hard as it may seem.
