When you're losing motivation, remember how far you've come

obligatory progress pics

So I'm in the process of getting back on the wagon after a rough holiday season/Q4. I had lost almost 30lbs over 9 mos when cold weather, delicious parties, and mass amounts of work travel hit. A few weeks ago I noticed that none of my newer pants were really fitting and I just felt generally puffy. So I've been doing my tracking thing for the past few weeks and the scale is starting to go in the right direction (for me) again, but I was still a bit down that I'd gotten off track.

Then I was browsing old pictures in my Facebook last night and came across the one on the left... Whoa. Looking back at where I started is great for making me remember that this DOES work, and it is worth doing. Results are my best inspiration and it was nice to remind myself that though I'm not where I once was, I'm also still wayyyy ahead of where I used to be. I've seen lots of posts lately about how to get motivated again and I identify with them - hoping this exercise can help someone else, too!
