To the people who have hit their WL/fitness goals.. Was it everything you thought it would be?

I have lost just about 100lbs|45kg up to date, with about 50 more to go. Is it harmful to expect a huge change in my mentality/personality once I reach my goals?

I know losing weight and getting healthy won't solve every problem in my life, but I do feel like it sure as hell with help with the problems that do surround my weight (not liking the way clothes fit me, not really having confidence in the way I look physically, being awkward socially because I'm self conscious, things like this) It would help some. Right?

I had been obese since I was a kid, and I'm getting closer to my goals it's a little scary. I think what I'm afraid of is losing the weight and realizing the weight was never the problem to begin with. (I have let my weight hold me back from A LOT of things and I'm not proud of it.)

When you were going through the process, can you remember what you thought it might be like? Was it anywhere near what you had imagined?
