This community has made me appreciate vegetables a lot more

I'm only 20 and used the methods on this sub to lose about 20lbs, I was 180 (I'm 5'11, M) and now I'm sitting around 160lbs. My diet consisted solely of greasy foods, fast food, college food, etc. Carbs, grease, and a ton of fatty meats and their assorted dishes.

I used to hate vegetables, just because they were veggies. I didn't want a salad, or eat sliced cucumbers, carrots, or peppers. Now I love them for some reason. When I'm ordering a sandwich, instead of getting extra meat and cheese I'll get green peppers, cucumbers, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, as much as I can stack on it. They are filling to me and I'm starting to really enjoy the taste. They've become a huge part of my diet now and by choice.

Anyways, just wanted to say that. Now I'm buying different types of exotic peppers and veggies to put on all my dishes because its this entire food group that I feel a lot of us are scared to explore but can really spice things up.
