SV: Met my mini-goal this month!

Hi r/Loseit, this is my first post on here. Woo!

Anyways, just thought I'd make a celebratory post. Hopefully it will inspire you to set goals and achieve them. I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm also posting this to keep my motivation up!

On with the post: About a month ago I decided it was time to get back in shape. I started creeping back up to my highest weight (207) ever since a non-lifethreatening medical debacle back in June of last year. The saga finally resolved in January this year, so I had no more excuses. Fast forward to the end of February I start working out at home again using YouTube videos and counting calories using Lose It!. I also use my Fitbit blaze for general record keeping and stats. My overall goal is to be about 140-150 (I'm a female and I'm 5'5"). This time I decided to set mini goals to keep my spirits up and keep me working towards the main goal, but in more bite sized pieces.

My official weigh in is tomorrow (I've marked it on a calendar on my wall in my workout room) but I decided to do it today and get it over with. My goal was 199lbs (starting weight of 207) and waist 41inches (starting 45.5in).

Results: 200.5lbs and 41inches!!! ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰

I'd say that's a victory!

Well, I've got to stop lollygagging and go workout now. :)

PS: my next goal is 194lbs and 39in, scheduled 4 weeks from today! ๐Ÿ˜…
