Please help me lose weight. Let me give you a quick rundown of my life at the moment.
I am a woman in my 20's who is overweight, perhaps obese at a 170 lbs. total and a height of a 5'6". I have never been much of a fitness person, but I used to usually be normal weight, at around 130 lbs. I currently work in an office, do not go to the gym and do not get much of a physical activity, however, I want to change.
My current weight is 170 lbs, I have no kids and no boyfriend. My no. 1 reason to lose weight is to gain more confiendence with my body, I want to be able to go to the beach with my family members and friends without feeling subconscious of how my body looks like in a bikini.
I was recently invited to a wedding at the beach in November, it is currently March, so I guess I have 8 months total to lose some weight. In addition, I will be a bridesmaid for a wedding 6 months from now. I recently went to try a bridemaids dress and my dress size was bigger than of the others, I felt ashamed and embarassed.
I want to perhaps get into online dating, but I also want to lose weight so I can be confident if I start going out with a guy. I keep being asked to get an Instagram, but I am so self conscious of my body weight, I don't like how I look like in pictures, but do not want to go all my young life without having pictures of my life.
My question to all of you is other than signing up to the guy, what other thing I should start doing or not doing to lose weight? Please help me!
My goal is to lose a minimum of 20 lbs in 6 moths, goal is 40 lbs by end of August and perhaps 50 by November to be at 120 lbs. Total.
