I apologise if this is not the right place but I figured some people must be like me and have as much trouble with what comes out as what goes in!
I’ve had really bad bowel movements for years. I always kind of figured it was my bad diet combined with maybe some minor intolerances to some unknown food stuff. I just kind of ignored it although it can be a little embarrassing at times as I would have super irregular movements (could come anytime) and vary from a little loose to VERY loose.
Now that I’m eating much better - plenty of veg and protein etc - I figured it would get better but after 7 weeks it still hasn’t really improved. As before I have “good days” and “bad days” but I’m really sick of it! I want to 💩 like a normal person!
A little further context; one of the only times in recent years I had normal, comfortable bowel movements was the 3 months I spent in rural rural Peru. I was basically behaving like an anorexic person (not going into that now but I’m fighting control demons) and eating about a handful of rice a day plus a little, little, little bit of incredibly bland lentil stew (that’s all that was available). I 💩 every second day and the consistency (apologies) was great.
Has anyone ever experienced any kind of 💩 trouble? Even if it’s different to mine? Has anything changed while changing diets?
I’m looking for basically any and all anecdotal stories of 💩 so I can help work out what on Earth could be wrong with me!
EDIT: or actually if you’ve ever had bad bowel movements did anything help? Fibre supplements? Drinking a ton more water? Eating meat? Eating veggies?
