Need some advice. I have not enough knowledge about this.

Hi. I am 5'8/M/260lbs. Last summer I was around 255lbs and and became really motivated to lose weight. I started on 16/8 IF and went with keto. I ate at 1700 calories a day and lost 20lbs in a few weeks. Unfortunately after I hit 235lbs I got gout and it set me back. I gained back the weight and became where I am today.

Now I want to go down again. I've started heavy lifting from early february and I eat 1800 calories a day tracked everything through mfp. I only do normal CICO now because of the gout. My problem is my weight doesn't want to go down at all. Is my metabolism screwed in some ways? Does anybody have some knowledge about this?

I am starting to lose motivation, but I don't want to give up.
