Just some SV's and NSV's after 2 months of CICO + sports

So, I'm always thinking about posting on here whenever I accomplish a new goal, but then I feel like my reddit history (of which I'm already embarassed) would become a bit too monotone ahah

BUT after about one year and a half of generally eating better and thus losing weight, +2 months of CICO (to which I shifted in order to learn how to eat more flexibly but still less) and 1 hour and a half of rugby training 3 times a week, I feel like it's time to brag a little about my wins!

Just a bit more info if you want to know: 20F, 5'9 (1.75 m), SW= 252lbs (116 kg), CW= 196/198lbs (90/89 kg), GW= 175lbs (80 kg)

Lost about 16 kgs (30 lbs) in my first year with a diet I got from a nutritionist, which helped me figure out I'm a volume eater (I had to eat pounds on pounds of vegetables and so much meat) and got me in the habit of cooking and eating better, but didn't get me out of my habit of occasionally bingeing and it made me feel guilty. Plus it was too restrictive (NO CHEESE? NO RICE??), so I stopped doing it (this was about august), managed to mantain until xmas playing around with IF and CICO (and also playing rugby), and then after xmas I decided to get serious with my calorie counting. I've lost since then about 7 kgs (15 lbs)! My calorie target is under 1600, but anywhere between 1400 and 1800 is cool too. I eat everything, but am trying to become a much more mindful eater, and to get full with normal portions of calorie dense-ish food. I still prioritize fibers and protein and everything that helps me keep full, so lots of vegetables and meat and eggs, but it's because it's convenient and I know how it makes me feel, not just because someone told me to.

SO here's my megapost of svs and nsvs!

SVs:

-So, starting with the SV that made me want to post on here today, I'm technically no longer obese! I've never cared about my BMI, but it's still cool to just be overweight, it's such a lighter word too ahah

-I finally got in onederland (in lbs)! And am right now in my 80s (in kg)!! I don't think I've weighed this little since middle school lol

NSVs:

-my waist is under the 35 inches treshold, so under that theoric "danger zone" I've read about! (like with BMI s I'm sure it's not a fixed value, but it's always cool to be sure you're in the clear)

-yesterday a random dude I play rugby with told me I looked a lot thinner (and I had never discussed my weight/diet change with him)

-a lot of people have been telling me this last month that I look a lot thinner. Might be due to the fact that big sweater and hoodie season is ending and I've worn t-shirts a couple of time, so people finally

-Like I already said, I've learnt to understand the value each food has in my diet, and have lots of fun eating according to what I plan to do that day (night out drinking? cut my calories for the day but eat protein and fiber dense food to keep full. Rugby training tonight? eat some wafers or even a croissant if it fits your calorie budget, and put as much sugar as you want in your coffee. After have a protein dense meal to build that muscle. Chill day? Stick to an equilibrated diet, don't go crazy with simple carbs since you tend to eat out of boredom and you don't wanna trigger those cravings today, save them for training day or a night out). Basically I've got to know myself and my body a lot better, and I'm able now to actually enjoy every aspect of my food, and not only its hedonistic value (which I still love mind you, food is amazing goddamn)

-I've become a pretty good cook, if I say so myself. My mom says it too, so I feel very accomplished.

-Found out I can have a thigh gap! I was never of a normal weight (except maybe in 2nd grade), so I had no idea. Now I have a very small one. I was obsessed with those in high school (although I knew they were a genetic thing and not an indicator of health, I still found them cute), definitely got over that, but it's still cool.

-I have a bit of a six pack, if I squeeze my belly in, first thing in the morning, when I'm not bloated. So yeah once every full moon, but still cool.

-The day after overeating I'm always way less hungry and manage to get back on track very easily. Was not the case in my previous diet (did the classic "let's slash all the tires" for at least one week after).

-I just have a lot of muscles that show and am loving the look. In particular my deltoids and my butt are looking great. My back too. It's so cool to love and be proud of what you see in the mirror.

-Loose old clothing obviously. Really wish I was already down a size or 2 with my jeans, but it's no big deal.

I hope this wasn't too ranty or boring, but I'm just so happy about this mini journey I got on on january, and its results, I just had to brag a little! And also share what I managed to do also thanks to this and other subreddits, this community is really something.

(pardon my english it's not my first language and I'm running on 3 hours of sleep oops healthy habits slip sometimes)
