I eat less than 1000 calories when eating "healthy".. Help!?

I am by no means a "I will starve myself to lose weight" person BUT somehow I always tend to fall under 1k calories when eating what I consider to be healthy. I eat till I am satisfied and that is it.

Now what do I consider to be healthy? I believe that natural products such as vegetables, fruit, roots, nuts and such are all natural. I also count in dairy without any flavouring. Nothing such as strawberry yoghurt or so.. Same goes for meat. No sausages or meatballs etc. Anything that hasn't been altered to look or taste a certain way (except for dairy ofc, as I still eat dairy in different kinds of forms)

My question to you guys is.. Is it truly that bad to eat this little when I am satisfied at the end of the day? I have tried to eat more to bring the amount of calories up to above 1k but it is honestly hard. I don't do any real exercise unless I count the needed walks for errands etc. (aka, nothing excessive).

Yes, adding bread or pasta to my diet would be a big kick to my calorie amount but I have a tendency to binge on "Carb heavy" food items = I wouldn't be able to contain myself.

Can I still lose weight by eating this way or do you guys suggest something different? Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I appreciate any advice I can get.
