I have recently begun working out 3-4x a week burning on average between 300-400 calories per session.
I’d like to lose 1lb or 2lb a week, and am confused on how many calories I should be eating on days I eat and don’t
Here are the calculations for my BMR and caloric intake on days I do not exercise
655.1 + (348) + (291.4) - (112.8) =
1,181.7(calories burned thru metabolism) + 0 (exercise (day with no exercise))
- 500 (wanted caloric deficit)
687 cal can be eaten that day
This seems fairly low to me, are my calculations correct?
As well here are the calculations for days with exercise:
655.1 + (348) + (291.4) - (112.8) =
1,181.7(calories burned thru metabolism) + 350 cal exercise (day with exercise
- 500 (wanted caloric deficit)
1,037 cal can be eaten that day
Please help! Right now i am eating about 1,000 to 1200 calories a day exercise or no exercise Thank you!!
