I've been on a diet for about a month now with a start weight of 185-189 lbs. Have also been going to a gym with a friend of mine for 3 weeks now. Last Monday, I weighted myself before my workout and was at 177 lbs. A week later, which is today, I did the same thing, but this time I weighted myself at 165 lbs. I was at a complete state of disbelief. It just didn't make sense. 12 lbs in a week? That can't be normal. The trainers at the gym told me it could be water weight.
I have been eating 1500 calories per day for about a month now. I am very happy with the progress but am also worried at the rate I am losing weight. Should I be worried, or is this fine?
Side note: I also measured my body fat last Monday and was at 20.00%. Today, it was at 18.20%.
