"Fat" pants wake up call

I've been in the same size pants for the last 4 years. And have had the same pants for said 4 years. I had a rotation of 6 pairs that were super comfy and fit great, but they were getting to the end of their life cycle, because...Old Navy. So this year at Black Friday sales time, I invested in 6 new pairs to replace the ones that were slowly dying. I did not take into account the stretching that has occured over the years and made the pants super comfortable. The new pants did not fit comfortably. After suffering one 12 hour day that they didn't get better, I realized I needed to buy a pair of filler pants until things changed.

Pant purchasing night also lead to a deep hard look at my purchased coffee addiction (at least 1 large caramel iced coffee with cream a day, but most days were 2). Holy F*CK! Giving that up means I save at least $18 a week and 2500(!!!!!!) calories a week. Coffee, ice, sugar free flavor, and half and half is $13 a month and 40 calories a day.

I am hoping this small change makes a huge difference. The $784 saved a month also means that I just funded my paddle board dream.

Wish me luck that the fat pants only need to be in my life for 2 weeks.
