So I am sick of writing "So we have X days until June 1st" so I am going to try to start differently. Man do I say "so" a lot?!
Tomorrow marks 21 days OR 3 weeks we have been at this!
That doesn't sound like much. 3 weeks. And it may not seem like much to some of you, BUT, it is a lot!
3 weeks doing anything is a big deal so remember to celebrate that progress! But also remember to check in on your progress.
I had officially lost 3ish lbs last Friday but after the crummy weekend I was back up 1 lb. If I have been at this 3 weeks and lost 3ish lbs I am on track to lose about a pound a week. That is nothing to sneeze at, but my original goal was 2 pounds a week, which I know is aggressive. The reason I bring this up is that it is important for us to look at our progress and evaluate where we are and where we want to be. For me, I want to get a better hold on my calorie tracking and maybe push that progress up to 1.5 or 2 pounds a week.
It was so easy when I did nothing for my health to just ignore my weight, or poor diet choices, or the fact that I got winded tying my shoes and I don't ever want to be that guy again. I want to be conscious of what I put in my body, and how I treat myself.
SO (there I go with the so's again) you guys take a long hard look at your progress and tell me how you are doing?!
Tomorrow we hit 3 weeks and I want to hear how it's going for you guys!
