A cautionary reminder

Hi everyone I haven’t been here in a while but I wanted to share a story. Three years ago I weighed 386 lbs with the help of this sub I got down to my goal of 180 life was good.Once I made my goal I took up Brazilian jiu jitsu and mma like I always wanted I train hard 12 times per week I love the grind. I noticed I was gaining weight I made excuses for myself such as “it’s probably muscle “ or “I exercise far more strenuously than most people this drive thru won’t hurt” fast forward to a few weeks ago I went to the dr for a staph infection and got on the scale it showed 272 lbs .To be honest I was heart broken and furious at the same time but I chose to get the cico going again and the weight is dropping so just be careful even if you make your goal I think something is broken to get very obese and you can’t necessarily fix it you have to always be aware.
