I have seen many people on loseit posting there victories, so i thought why not do it too! So i am an 18 year old overweight guy. Ever since i stopped playing outside as a kid (around 10 years old) i gained quite a lot of weight. In school i've always been the fat kid no one wanted in their team. When i turned 16 i was at my highest and decided i was a failure in live.. I didn't have a healthy relationship with food, i didn't play any sports. A year later i became friends with a guy that was ripped as hell. He told me he goes to the gym 5 times a week where he did strength training. At the time i was really weak and i thought i couldn't do it. I turned 18 and was still insecure about my body and saw myself as a weak boy. But then my friend asked me to join him in his training in the gym. Ever since i fell in love with the gym, i've been going since then 3 times a week! full body strength training and afterwards a bit of cardio. I've lost my first 10 kgs now and gained some muscle mass and strength(a lot of strength). I feel now alive more than ever. My relationship with food is much healthier now because my friend introduced me with CICO and MyFitnessPal. I know for sure this summer i will be able to take off my shirt without feeling insecure or getting disgusted faces. I need to lose around 7 kgs more. Because i gained a lot of muscle mass i know not to look so much at the numbers on the scale and i won't but i do know that i made progress in the last couple of months and i am really proud of it! I don't feel like a weak boy anymore, i feel like a strong man and i know this summer i will be in the shape of my life!
