What single daily habit change would you recommend?

9 months ago I was smoking half a pack a day, drinking 6+ alcoholic beverages nightly, and filling the rest of my day with sodas, and never getting any exercise.

Since then I've quit alcohol (7 months sober!), smoking (9 months!), and soda (2 months!), and have been going on 3+ hr hikes 1-2x a week (6 months). I went and got a physical and a blood test and from my doctor's perspective I've turned my health around 180degrees. I now drink 3-4 liters of water every day (I still have a bit of an addiction with the act of drinking, even if its not alcohol).

However, I've not lost a single pound. I'm still the exact same weight I was 9 months ago; 5'6" and 210lbs. Losing weight was never the point, but I'm surprised it hasn't come with all the healthy changes.

Anyway, I been adding one good habit at a time, maintaining it for several weeks to 1+ months until it feels like a natural part of my day and then I add another. I'd like to find some great habits I can add to my daily routine that will help lose weight and I'm struggling to figure out exactly where I should start.

P.S. I'm not trying to advertise, but I've been using an Android app called HabitHub to keep up with my habits from the very beginning and it's been a great motivator for me.
