Hey guys, I am coming upon the biggest plateau that I've been to in a while. I started around 145/150 back in August, and I've done amazing so far. I'm at right about 122, and occasionally I fluctuate between 119-125 (edit: more like 119-123) depending on the day. I've still got a lot of stomach fat that I want to reduce, but my body has stagnated in this range for over a month now with no further downward trend. I'm at a horrible plateau.
I understand that to a lot of people, 120 sounds skinny. I had a friend imply that I'm just being greedy now. But I still have a lot of body fat, and it's mostly concentrated in my stomach; it still jiggles around. I've been working to reduce it, but it seems like it doesn't want to go, even though I've been at 1200 calories/day since August. :/ The belly perseveres.
I know the go-to advice is "really make sure you're counting your calories right, don't skip anything," so I'm going to crack down and do that, but still there is a level of frustration when you've been making consistent progress and then you just stop. Any words of advice or encouragement? I would welcome them.
